Bodywork

Offering bodywork in Gainesville, Florida.

With precautions for COVID-19 transmission (see below), I offer bodywork in the professional clinic of the Florida School of Massage, where I am also an instructor. During sessions I employ manual therapy techniques that include connective tissue therapy (fascia work), neuromuscular therapy (trigger point work), sports massage, and stretching. I enjoy working with athletes, sedentary clients, and everyone in between. My practice is inclusive of people of all ages, sizes, abilities, backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities. License #MA80375, expiring August, 2025.

Current COVID-19 Precautions (updated October 2023):

  • I am seeing vaccinated and non-vaccinated clients. I am 4x vaccinated (latest October 2022).

  • I masked with a respirator during the session and any time I am in the building. Clients are welcome to mask if they like.

  • Treatment rooms receive a thorough surface cleaning and are aired out at least 30 minutes between sessions.

  • Clients are screened with these four questions. If there are any "yes" answers the session must be rescheduled:

    1. Have you experienced any of the following symptoms in the past 48 hours: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea?

    2. Within the past 14 days, have you been in close physical contact (6 feet or closer for at least 15 minutes) with a person known to have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 or with anyone with any symptoms consistent with COVID-19?

    3. Are you isolating or quarantining because you may have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 or are you worried that you may be sick with COVID-19?

    4. Are you waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test?
